Binghamton University’s teacher education program, designed to prepare competent, caring, and qualified educators dedicated to their profession and to diverse learning communities, is nationally accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) for a period of five years, from May 2005 to May 2010. This accreditation certifies that the forenamed professional education program has provided evidence that the program adheres to TEAC’s quality principles.
