A limited number of graduate assistantships are available to graduate students in the School of Education. To be eligible for an assistantship, a student must be enrolled full-time and must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
Recipients
of assistantships are assigned duties in support of research
projects, class
preparation, administrative service, or journal publication. These
responsibilities
require 20 hours per week. In exchange
for this work, graduate assistants receive
a tuition scholarship and a stipend.
A Lyceum Graduate Assistantship supports
a full-time graduate student in a masters degree program to assist the Lyceum
coordinator. A stipend in the amount of $4,050 is paid for the academic year.
A half-tuition scholarship is awarded. Application for
the Lyceum Assistantship is required by April 15.

Reads Assistantships support
full-time graduate students enrolled in a master's
degree program.
Masters Students in Education
Prospective
masters students wanting to apply for an assistantship
should indicate interest on the Graduate School application.
Applications must be submitted by February 1 in order
to
be
considered
for an assistantship for the next academic year.
The
stipend for new masters graduate assistants for 2007-08
will be $8,500.
The Klee Fellowships
The
Klee Fellowships are for MAT Students in Adolescence Education

Doctoral Students in Education
A
