• Spring, 2008 graduate Natalie Berlin awarded Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence - SOE is pleased to announce that Natalie Berlin (MSEd, '08, Childhood Education) received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence in a ceremony in Albany on April 7th, 2008 (13 out of 275 honorees were from Binghamton University). Natalie currently serves Graduate Student Organization Senator, as well as Vice President of the Professional Education Graduate Organization and Vice President of BU's local Kappa Delta Pi Chapter.

 

 

• 2007 EdD graduate Dr. Dominick Nuciforo's manuscript "Finding 'Soft' Ways to Address a 'Hard' Issue: Rethinking How Schools Address Childhood Obesity" has been accepted for publication by the American School Board Journal. 

 

•SOE Doctoral students win Graduate Student Excellence Awards - The School of Education wishes to congratulate Elizabeth Anderson for winning a Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Service/Outreach, and Aleksey Tikomirov for being awarded a Graduate Student Award for Excellence in Teaching.
